The Three Stigmata of Joseph Biden
Dr. Terry Shapiro, a Long Island dentist, writes a blog that has this entry, titled, "More on Joe Biden's Teeth."
She writes: "...it looks to me like the Vice President has had a full mouth reconstruction, consisting of porcelain crowns covering all of his existing teeth and bridges to replace any missing teeth. But the crowns are too white, too opaque, and too long and bulky for him. I would have done much better dentistry so that the teeth looked natural and were appropriate to his face. Crowns and bridges should look like real teeth. Unfortunately his look fake."
Given her professional expertise, I believe her assessment of Biden's mouth. Among other things, this means that the main would-be Democratic opponent of Donald Trump is, like the current President, a freak in the looks department.
Trump's strange unnaturally blonde hair, kept in place in the back with a clip, tells the world he doesn't want to face people with the personal truth of his outer look. Franklin Roosevelt did the same, in a sense, by not letting it be known to the public his inability to walk without crutches. Roosevelt, initiator of the New Deal, negotiator with Churchill and Stalin, for better and worse, on the makeup of the post-1945 world, fat cat himself who curbed the profit-making of fat cats, would've been, under the right circumstances, mocked and imitated disgustingly by Trump for being disabled.
Trump himself is disabled inside his mind and heart, his emotional self severely damaged by a distant mother and abusive father. At his rallies, Trump gets to act out his life's accumulated aggressions. Looking at him objectively, he's just a performer moving his arms around, feeding off a crowd's enjoyment at hearing a vicious comedian say things no one, much less politicians, are supposed to say in public.
Joe Biden has a different speaking style, a more traditional rapport with his audiences. He says things making some of them laugh. He has a sense of timing. His jokes may not be funny to all, especially progressives, but they resonate with the Contented Class.
Biden wants America "to be moral again." Having authored the 1994 Crime Bill, which expanded the prison population for minor drug offenders (mostly persons of color), he now denies that bill's long term effects even though facts contradict him. He's responsible, along with Bill Clinton who signed the thing into law, for the immoral incarceration of hundreds of thousands of people whose sentences were expanded beyond logic. When taking into account the crack cocaine epidemic (caused by CIA activities) and the Crime Bill, the millions of lives so adversely affected can be squarely regarded as victims of smiling Joe Biden and self-righteous Bill Clinton.
Clinton himself just a few years ago admitted in a speech that the Crime Bill was a mistake. Hillary Clinton, in 1996, said the Crime Bill "...is a tool against the kinds of kids that are called super-predators...[that have] no conscience, no empathy. We can talk about why they ended up that way, but first we have bring them to heel."
In 2016, trying to look good for a job she badly wanted, the woman who behaved like a super-predator towards the Libyan people, expressed her "regrets" for making that remark.
Having reflected on my "super-predators" characterization of young Black men, back when I was First Lady of the United States--thus, a role model--I've now realized I shouldn't have been so honest about the contempt I feel, I mean felt, for Black youth struggling in poverty, addicted in many cases to the cocaine flooded into the United States by the CIA as part of their attempts to bring democracy and weapons to Latin America.
Joe Biden stepped aside to let Hillary Clinton have the 2016 Democratic Nomination. How fucking humiliating, especially when she didn't even win.
President Obama told Biden, "Joe. This time we're going to let Hillary shoot that clay pigeon. You've tried to be President twice. Hillary's tried once. It's her turn. If you're healthy and your mind still works in 2020 or 2024, you can try a third time. I won't vote for you--now don't misunderstand! After I leave office I'm cashing in on all the favors I did for folks these past eight years. Why should I vote? No matter who wins, I make money."
"Will you campaign for me, Barack?"
"That depends on the granting of favors I'll expect from you if you win."
Joe Biden's fetish of touching and sniffing the hair of girls and women doesn't bother me as much as his opposition to Medicare for All, his vote to invade Iraq, his support of Trump's meddling in the affairs of Venezuela, his statement that "Roe v. Wade went too far." Biden chaired the overbearing all male committee questioning Anita Hill about Supreme Court Justice candidate Clarence Thomas in 1991, saying recently he called Hill, talked with her for the first time in twenty-seven years. In an interview from this past month, Biden lamented, "I wish there was something I could've done [to assist Anita Hill's case against Thomas]." As if his brain is encased in petrified mud, he doesn't admit to being the committee's chair, thus able to direct that body's activities. Witnesses who could've corroborated Hill's testimony were available but not called to testify, by Biden. Thus, he enabled the elevation to the Supreme Court of one of this country's most right wing Justices.
Biden, as part of his "return to morality" play, is obsessed with civility and bipartisanship. He loves reaching across the aisle so much that he confesses to a liking for Dick Cheney. Cheney, a war criminal who sanctioned torture and waged aggressive war against two sovereign nations, making money by doing so. Biden has nothing bad to say about any Republican, no matter how loathsome that person is. Biden's morality, I guess, concerns itself with maintaining the status quo of Rich Man's Rule. He's a killer, like Hillary and Bill Clinton, no better, really, than Trump.
Do you want the Teeth or the Hair? Civility that deals death on the side or Blunt Rude Speech that also devastates. Biden and Trump, like Hillary Clinton and Trump, represent no sane choice for voters. Even so, Bernie Sanders, asked if he'd vote for Biden if the latter wins the Democratic Nomination, said he would do so. In 2016 he campaigned for Hillary Clinton, the woman who cheated him in the Primary. Bernie has a tough skin when it comes to being fucked over by Democrats.
Unity. It's for fools when the stakes are so high. Biden's fake white teeth, Trump's fake blonde hair--a Party of fakes in the 2020 year of false choices. Biden, if he wins the Nomination, will lose to Trump because the Democratic Establishment is dying.
