     The standard viewpoint in mainstream American news treats violent and vicious actions taken against Palestinians by Israeli forces as a matter of watching from a distance, without any moral position expressed that could be regarded as humane toward the obvious victims, the Palestinians.
     They leave it to crazy people like me, who finds the sight of Israeli snipers gunning down hundreds of people armed with rocks the depiction of an obvious mismatch, with Goliath armed with twenty-first century firearms.  In the Old Testament, David, the one with the rock, is the good guy.  Goliath is an invader.  One would think that at least a few American journalists would make the connection I just made, that of people armed with rocks (the desperate ones) facing heavily armed opponents.  Instead, footage, shot from way behind the front lines of the Palestinians protesting the move of the American embassy to Jerusalem, shows dust in the air, Palestinians running here and there, along with blandly spoken reports of "Fifty-two protestors were killed and about a thousand injured..."
     By whom?  They don't say.
     Because it's true, they should say, "Israeli snipers, continuing a homicidal policy practiced just a few weeks ago, shot at thousands of overwhelmingly peaceful Palestinian protestors, killing fifty-two, injuring approximately 1,000."
     The grammatical passive voice is not only bad writing, it also excuses and conceals crimes against humanity.  Without assigning blame to Israeli policy for these atrocities, MSNBC, CNN, and other corrupted news organizations, serving the interests of irresponsible power conglomerations called mega-corporations, act hand in hand with corrupted government entities.  These news outlets give the nod to mass murder committed by a state, Israel, that was established in the wake of a war during which six million Jews were murdered by a state, Nazi Germany, that was operated by corporations acting hand in hand with a corrupt government.
     Fascists, in short, kill and maim Palestinians en masse, with U.S. consent, just as Fascists in the 1940s killed and maimed Jews, Gypsies, and Slavic peoples en masse.
     Philosophically, the Nazis won World War Two.  Fascism, state and corporate power combined, lives on in Europe, the U.S., and in Israel.
     Someone as benign-seeming to most Americans as France's Macron (a young, handsome, intellectual contrast to Donald Trump for some) is really a Fascist, Neo-Liberal style.  Author Naomi Klein said to the Morning Joe crew on MSNBC a year ago that Macron is like Obama.  She wasn't complimenting Macron since she said it with a sense of warning about Obama's Neo-Liberalism, earning her a look of bafflement from the other panelists.  France's working class, a year into Macron's leadership, hates his guts.  He's anti-labor, pro-big business, Neo-Liberal all the way, the kind of friend Bill and Hillary Clinton might like to cultivate.  Like them, too, he's capable of committing mass murder.  Macron and the United Kingdom's Theresa May helped Trump bomb Syria to retaliate against the imaginary chemical attack in Douma, demolishing Damascus neighborhoods, with real civilian human beings living in them until they were murdered, with a consequent boost in the Stock Market.
     Fascists kill, look respectable doing it and make money at it, get support and praise from compliant news media personnel who work for corporations that profit from war.  The reasons for war, though never talked about in mainstream news, are not difficult to figure out.
     On MSNBC, while images of Palestinians getting murdered by Israeli snipers played on the screen, a switch away from that showed Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, and Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin arriving in Israel for the dedication of the site for the new American embassy.  This comes at a time when Benjamin Netanyahu's forces are exchanging blows with Iranian forces in Syria, at a time when Trump has withdrawn American support from the Iran nuclear deal (one of Obama's admirable accomplishments), increasing the likelihood that Iranian leaders will want to pursue nuclear weapons all the more, to protect themselves against nuclear-armed Israel.
     Kushner, Ivanka Trump, and Mnuchin shook hands with Israeli leaders, all of them smiling, safe from the massacre thirty miles away.  Hospitals in Gaza are overwhelmed, unable to handle all the casualties and lacking enough proper equipment due to the U.S.-supported Israeli blockade, an ongoing atrocity considered normal and fine with masses of Americans who never think about these things because the news media deliberately doesn't illuminate the subject.  Why advertise that you support mass murder and profit from it?
     U.S. ally Egypt, run by a dictator even worse than Hillary Clinton's friend, the former dictator Hosni Mubarak, won't allow Palestinians to cross over for aid.  I theorize (I write this without hyperbole) that Netanyahu and his brutes, with U.S. consent, have come to the Final Solution of the Palestinian Question.  Blockade, starve, let disease fester and kill, shoot, bomb, bring Gaza to utter failure--doesn't Ivanka's dress look elegant?
